The property, which is the last to acquire a gaming license from Louisiana, is expected to open next year and will feature:

- A casino with 60 table games
- A poker room
- 1600 of the newest slot machines
- 18-Hole championship golf course
- World-class spa
- Retail shopping
- Several Landry's restaurants
- 18,000 square foot ballroom
- Entertainment showroom
- Meeting spaces
- Pool and beach front

"I could not pass up the opportunity to build and operate a casino next door to my hometown. This casino will be where Louisiana locals and Texans will want to play, stay and enjoy themselves," Fertitta said in a prepared statement.
