Officials have identified a man whose body was found under the Rainbow Bridge Monday night.
The victim is identified as Christopher Reich of Vidor. Reich was identified through evidence collected during an autopsy Tuesday.
Monday night, Deputy Rod Carroll told 12News the Sheriff's Office responded around 5 p.m. Monday after the Coast Guard notified them they had found a body.
"A United States Coast Guard patrol located a body by the Rainbow Bridge. They contacted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and we dispatch our Marine division to recover the body. The body appears to be a white male, unknown age at this time, heavily tattooed with a mustache and beard," said Deputy Carroll.
Deputy Carroll said there were no obvious signs of foul play.
