Major drug bust in Liberty County

Four Cleveland, Texas men are in jail facing drug charges after a major bust there.

Liberty County Sheriff's Captain Ken DeFoor says deputies acting on a search warrant found the four men Tuesday packaging the narcotics at a kitchen table.

Deputies found more than a pound and a half of crack cocaine, more than 14 pounds of marijuana, and a large amount of Soma and hydrocodone pills.

Cedrick Bass, Sterling Davison Jr., Dante Rushing, and Troy Lynn Davis all face possession and distribution charges.

Each has bonds set at $300,000.

Deputies also found a safe deposit box at a bank in Humble under Bass's name with nearly $87,000.  It is believed to be drug money.
