Woman accused of sexually assaulting teen at Austin church

Woman arrested for sex assault at church

AUSTIN - Austin police have arrested a woman they believe sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy in the bathroom of St. Peter's United Methodist Church in East Austin.

According to the arrest warrant for Randricka Houston, 34, the woman met the child at the church and has known him since he was 7- or 9-years-old. They are both members of the church, according to a representative of the church. A media release by the church Wednesday afternoon confirmed that she was not an employee.

The alleged victim told police that the woman has touched him inappropriately more than once. He said the first time it happened was during spring break of this year.

The alleged victim told police that Houston would tell him to meet her in the restroom that was located in the "toddler's room." She would then perform oral sex on the boy.

The alleged victim told police that on May 8, the last time it allegedly happened, a family friend walked into the restroom and found her performing oral sex on the boy. That family friend then told some members of the church what allegedly happened.

When police spoke with Houston about the incident, she admitted to performing oral sex on the boy. She told police that, since that incident, the church has banned her.

Houston was booked in Travis County Jail Sept. 13 and has a bond set at $20,000.
