KATC reported that autopsy revealed that Eric Stansbury, 61, of Vidor, was shot but Abbeville Police have not said where on his body he was wounded or how many times he was shot.

Anne Ross was a close friend of Stansbury says he loved playing pool. "He was a character. He shot pool and played in pool tournaments and he was just a good guy." Ross said.

Family members did not want to talk on camera, however, they told 12News the father and husband worked at Valero plant in Port Arthur.

They say he would also stop at the Exxon gas station on S M L King Jr Pkwy.
