Orange Police Department investigating officer involved shooting between deputies and suspects

Orange Police Department received a call about shots fired at approximately 9:00p.m Monday.

ORANGE - Orange Police Department is investigating an officer involved shooting after two Orange County Sheriff's deputies reported an exchange of gunfire between two suspects.

According to police, they received a call of shots fired in the area of Bridal Wreath Ave. and Dahlia St. around 9 p.m. Monday.

Deputies reported they were shot at by two suspects, and one deputy returned fire. A deputy's vehicle was damaged from gun shots, but now one was injured.

Police spoke with two persons of interest, but no arrests have been made.
