Employees held at gunpoint in Orange robbery

ORANGE - Employees getting ready to go home for the night had a very unwelcome end to their day as gunmen robbed the Dollar General Store located at 5725 16th Street in Orange Monday night.

The robbery happened just after 10 p.m.  Two employees were held at gunpoint while the robbers grabbed cash.  The gunmen ran away after getting the money.

Orange Police Captain Burns said the employees were not injured in the robbery.

A witness said one of the robbers was wearing all black with a black jacket and a gray hood.  The other robber was wearing a silver, black and white camouflage style jacket with a hood.
