BRIDGE CITY - The Texas Department of Public Safety received a call at 8:00p.m Tuesday evening of a multiple vehicle crash on I10 eastbound near 1442.
Troopers say a Dodge Charger was traveling east on I-10 near FM 1442 when it rear-ended a car. The Charger then slammed into the concrete divider before coming to rest. Witnesses say the driver of the Dodge was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
Three people were transported to hospital. The driver of the Dodge, 63-year-old Jesse Bell of Orange, was transported to Baptist hospital in Orange with minor injuries. Bell has since been released from the hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet passenger vehicle, 20-year-old Fleachia Isbell of Orange, and her 22-year-old passenger, were both transported to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
