Man from Orange arrested after string of indecent exposure incidents

A man is behind bars in the Orange county jail on a charge of violating his parole but he is also suspected of exposing himself to a teenage girl in the parking lot of Parkdale Mall and at least one other incident in West Orange.

ORANGE - A man is behind bars in the Orange county jail on a charge of violating his parole but he is also suspected of exposing himself to a teenage girl in the parking lot of Parkdale Mall and at least one other incident in West Orange.

According to a news release from the Beaumont Police Department, Sean Milton Crooks, 27, of Orange, was arrested after a collaborative investigation involving police in Beaumont, West Orange, Bridge City and Orange.

Crooks was identified as being a person of interest in an indecent exposure on Sunday, Nov. 5 at Parkdale Mall. Crooks was also positively identified by a victim of a similar indecent exposure in West Orange on Friday, Nov. 3.

A Beaumont Police spokesperson said the joint investigation led to Crooks being arrested Friday in Orange on a Parole Violation Warrant, based on these incidents.

Police released a photo of Crooks as well as the vehicle he used during the commission of these crimes.
