Hamshire-Fannett boy killed in ATV accident at honored at National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - A 10-year-old Hamshire-Fannett boy who was killed in an ATV accident last month will receive some national recognition Thursday night. 

Trevor Chesson, who died after the ATV he was riding rolled over on him, will be honored at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

Cowboys and cowgirls from across the U.S. will wear stickers bearing Chesson's initials, TLC, in honor of the Southeast Texas youth.

Chesson's parents were flown to Las Vegas for Thursday night's eighth round of the rode finals.

In addition to meeting with local cowboy, Cade Swor, who spearheaded the recognition and has worn a TLC sticker each night ot the rodeo, they got to meet 23 time world champion Trevor Brazile, whom they named their son after.
