BISD decides who's in the principal's office

BEAUMONT - Principals have been chosen for each of the Beaumont Independent School District’s campuses.  A district spokesperson Thursday morning released the following list of principal assignments: 

Lachandra Cobb-Eaglin, Central Medical Magnet High School

Mrs. Cobb-Eaglin has more than 15 years in education as a teacher, curriculum coordinator, assistant principal and principal. Previously, she served as principal of Smith Magnet Middle School, Title I curriculum coordinator at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School and assistant principal at Clifton J. Ozen High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her master's degree from Lamar University.

Glenetta Henley, Curtis Elementary School
Mrs. Henley has more than 30 years in education as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. Previously, she served as principal of West Orange- Stark Elementary in West Orange-Cove Consolidated ISD and assistant principal at Marshall Middle School. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

Paul Breaux, Marshall Middle School
Mr. Breaux has more than 20 years in education as a teacher, coordinator, assistant principal and associate principal. Previously, he served as the associate principal at Central Medical Magnet High School, assistant principal at Vincent Middle School and assistant principal at Marshall Middle School. He earned his bachelor's degree from Lamar University and his master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University

Anetra Cheatham, Smith Magnet Middle School
Mrs. Cheatham has more than 14 years in education as a teacher, curriculum writer, assistant principal and principal. Previously, she served as principal of Jones-Clark Elementary School and associate principal at Central Medical Magnet High School. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Lamar University.

Melanie Gimble, Vincent Middle School
Ms. Gimble has more than 20 years in education as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal and principal. Previously, she served as the principal of Kermit Junior High School in Kermit ISD and principal of Winona Middle School in Winona ISD. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Baylor University.
