Beaumont police surround house following shooting

Woman says she no longer feels safe in own home.

Beaumont police are looking for two men connected to a south end shooting around 11:15 this morning.

Beaumont police surrounded a house Thursday morning following a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Church Street in south Beaumont.  This is near the post office.

The victim is said to have been shot in the shoulder.

A person who was in the house brought a baby to officers. Police kept the house surrounded and used a public address system to ask anyone else in the house to come out.

Officers used a K-9 unit, assault rifles and riot shield as they entered the home.

By 12:26 p.m. officers determined that there was no one else in the house.

A family member of the victim told 12News she did not know why someone would shoot the victim she identified as Ronaldo Hudson.

Police said everyone involved knew each other.

They are now interviewing multiple suspects.

No arrests have been made.
