From the City of Beaumont Animal Services...

The City of Beaumont is starting a program that will allow the City’s Animal Care division to offer free spay or neuter surgeries to the pets of eligible Beaumont residents.

To qualify for a free spay or neuter surgery individuals must be Beaumont residents, have an owned animal, and meet certain income restrictions.

The program will start on October 11, 2017. Funding for this program is limited and will be available to residents on a first-come first-served basis.

Applications may be picked up at the Beaumont Animal Shelter, located at 1884 Pine St.

Spay or neutering your pet is an important decision for any pet owner.

It can reduce temperament and behavior problems, make your pets less likely to mark territory, make your pets less likely to bite and less likely to run away or get into fights.

For more information on the program, please call the City’s Animal Care division at 409-838-3304.
