Liberty County Sheriff's looking for man who robbed feed store of weapons in his underwear

Liberty County Sheriff's are looking for a burglar who robbed the Maci Feed Store on SH 146N in his underwear.

Sheriff's officials say the robbery happened at about 3:25 a.m., when  a video surveillance camera captured a suspect, possible a juvenile, with no shoes or shirt, and dressed only in what appeared to be a pair of boxer underwear shorts, breaking a front window of the Maci Feed Store located at 10769 SH146N. After breaking the window, the suspect stole three handguns. Maci Feed Store's owner is currently conducting an inventory to make sure no other goods were stolen.

Capt. Ken DeFoor, Liberty County Sheriff's Public Information Officer, says that the suspect left blood at the scene, which was later submitted to a lab for DNA analysis.

DeFoor says that video surveillance camera was recorded in black and white, but the suspect appears to be a young white male, with a cut on his body, who possibly lives in the Liberty County area. Sheriff's officials say that if anyone has information about someone who fits the description, they should call  the Liberty County Sheriff's Office at (936) 336-4500.

Any other information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867. The caller will remain anonymous and can receive a cash reward upon the arrest of the burglary suspect.
