Lamar stuns SFA 46-45

Just three years after losing 71-3 to Stephen F. Austin, Lamar walked away from Provost Umphrey Stadium with a 46-45 win.

The Lumberjacks took a nine point lead late in the fourth only to see the Cardinals rally, capped off by an Alex Ball 41-yard field goal with fifteen seconds left on the clock.

West Brook product Reggie Beggelton had a monster night with 18 catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Lamar (5-6, 2-4) will wrap up their season Saturday when they host arch-rival McNeese.
