The Central Jaguars lost in the state 4a semi-finals on Thursday night to Dallas Kimball 60-56 as the Jags Michael Jacquet had a potential game tying layup blocked by the Knights D'Angelo Allen with 20 seconds left.
The Knights then scored on a break-away layup with 11 seconds left in the game to make it a four point victory.
Central lost their best player E'Torrion Wilridge with a leg injury in the first quarter after Wilridge scored eight points.
Nijal Pearson picked up the slack, leading the Jaguars with 23 points. Andre Morris was next with 10 points.
Kimball was led by Juwan Evans with 23 points. The Knights led by as many as 11 points in the 3rd quarter before the Jags came back to make it a close game.
Kimball will face Amarillo for the 4a title on Saturday at 3 PM . Amarillo defeated Shertz Clemens 60-46 in the other semi-final game.
