Habitat for Humanity is working on its 114th home in Southeast Texas.
Construction began Thursday on Galveston Street in Beaumont.
Wells Fargo volunteers framed in the house as part of the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation's team member volunteer program. The volunteers' work day will translate into a $10,000 grant for habitat that will help pay for house construction costs.
"It is nice to physically help someone and to see the work come together. It is a good feeling. Come on out and get your hands dirty," said Wells Fargo volunteer Landom Newsom.
Additional support for this project is provided by the City of Beaumont and Lowe's through National Women Build Week which is from May 7 thru May 11.
