Four arrested, guns recovered after robbery

A Beaumont Police Department spokesperson said four people were arrested and some stolen guns were recovered as police investigated an aggravated robbery Thursday morning.

Just after 1 a.m. officers were called to the Royal Stop convenience store located at 8350 Gladys Street.  A teen said he had just been robbed at gunpoint by two men who took his iPhone.  He told police the men left in a 1990's tan-colored Buick.

A short while later officers spotted a tan-colored Buick.  There were four people inside the car.

Officers approached the car and told the occupants to get out of the car.  Inside the vehicle officers found three hand guns and several iPhones including one identified as belonging to the teen.  Two of the guns had been reported as stolen.

All four men from the car were arrested on theft and robbery charges.
