FBI seizes two vehicles from BISD's director of finance

12News has learned that the FBI has seized two vehicles belonging to Beaumont Independent School District's director of finance, Devin McCraney.

McCraney's home was raided last Thursday by federal investigators looking into possible misuse of public funds at BISD.

Also raided were the administration building and the home of BISD comptroller Sherika Allison.

A family member, who claimed to live at McCraney's home on Avie Lane in north Beaumont, told us FBI agents took McCraney's F-150 pickup truck and a GMC Yukon Thursday evening.

Sources close to the investigation have confirmed that as well.

The Yukon made headlines last week during the FBI raid because it had a vanity plate with "spoyld" on it.

The family member, we saw outside the home Friday afternoon, told us McCraney was not home.

The only activity we witnessed were construction workers building an addition to the house.

Last week, the FBI also seized $50,000 that sources say McCraney withdrew from the bank, apparently to hire an attorney.
