Early morning Hwy 62 wreck results in non-life threatening injuries

ORANGE COUNTY - A three vehicle wreck early Thursday morning in Orange County sent several people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At about 5:20 a.m. the Texas Department of Public Safety got a report of the the wreck on Highway 62 near IH-10 according to a release from DPS.

A southbound Dodge pickup driven by Brennon Roach, 24, of Buna, struck a Ford pickup truck driven by Serafin Aguilar, 50, of Kirbyville, when it pulled out of a private driveway along Highway 62 according to the release.

The bumper of the Roach's Dodge pickup came off and struck a northbound Dodge car driven by Rosa Vargas, 43, of Groves, the release said.

Aguilar and his passengers were all taken by ambulance to Chirstus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-life threatening injuries according to DPS.

Roach and Vargas were not injured.

The accident remains under investigation by DPS.
