The reward for information on the murder of a 19-year-old Beaumont woman and her newborn baby has increased to $21,100.

Southeast Texans and businesses from the Beaumont area are hoping a cash reward will encourage someone to come forward with information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the shooting death of a young woman and her unborn child.

Kera Teel, 19, and her unborn child were shot to death Tuesday in an early-morning robbery.  Kera was seven months pregnant.

“Several private citizens and businesses have come forward and made addition donations to Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers for the reward money, leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in the murder of Kera Teel and Kyndal Teel." according to Haley Morrow with Beaumont Police Department.

Crime Stoppers takes anonymous tips by phone, web and text messages.  Callers at 409-833-8477 are not asked for a name.  They get a confidential code number and if the information leads to an arrest, the code number is used to claim the reward.

If you wish to donate to Crime Stoppers, you can call Beaumont Police Department at 880-1092 during business hours. You can also send an email to Admin@833TIPS.COM, that will alert someone at Crime Stoppers that you would like to make a donation.
