NEWTON - The Newton County Sheriff's Office has set a bond for the man arrested in the January 2017 death of a Bon Wier man.
Bo Wood Jr., was arrested Sunday, December 10, 2017, in connection with the death of Keandre Markell Jones, 22, of Bon Wier, according to a release from the Newton County Sheriff's Office.
His bond is set at $250,000.
The body of Jones, who was also known as "T.T.," was found January 27, 2017, off of Highway 190 in the Bon Wier area according to the release.
The identification of Jones' body was delayed because there was a 10-month delay in getting DNA results back from the lab the release said.
Deputies are investigating the possibility that more suspects may have been involved in Jones' death the release said.
