Bruce homers in Reds win

CINCINNATI -- A commanding Johnny Cueto performance, plus an early lead, were ingredients to a recipe the Reds often crave but haven't gotten enough of this season.

But this was a night where starting pitcher, bullpen, defense and offense worked in synergy. Cueto tied a career high with 12 strikeouts over six scoreless innings as the Reds took a 5-0 victory over the Dodgers at Great American Ball Park on Wednesday night, after losing the previous two games of the series.
