Calvin Walker, the Beaumont electrician who entered into a plea agreement after he was indicted on 37 federal counts relating to his dealings with the Beaumont Independent School District, will keep his master electrician license.
The decision was made Wednesday by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
There are seven members on the commission. Two of the members were not present for Wednesday's vote. The other five all voted unanimously to agree with a judge's previous decision that Walker should be able to keep his license.
The board found that there are no grounds for any professional disciplinary action against Walker.
