The Orange County Sheriff's Office is trying to determine who would shoot more than a dozen cows to death.
15 cows, some of them calves, were found in a pasture in the 14000 Mansfield Ferry Road by the land owner.
The owner told deputies the animals had been shot some time overnight. The sheriff's office cannot confirm what type of gun was used.
The sheriff's office says the animals are valued at $15,000. Investigators are following up on leads.
