Investigators in Liberty County are looking into the death of a 13-year-old boy found in a barn hanging from a rope.
Sheriff's Captain Ken DeFoor tells 12News the boy was found by his 10-year-old brother around 1:30 Monday afternoon in a barn behind a home off Highway 105 near the Trinity River bridge.
DeFoor says the rope was attached to a rafter.
The boys' mother was not home at the time, but a 19-year-old brother was inside the house.
Captain DeFoor says it's too early to know if this was an accident, suicide, or foul play.
The victim's name is not being released.
Autopsy results are expected Tuesday.
