No injuries in Beaumont arson

A spokesperson for Beaumont Fire-Rescue said there are no injuries following an arson Wednesday morning in the city's north side.

Shortly after 4:30 a.m. firefighters were called to a house fire at 3360 St Helena Street. When they arrived they found the front of a vacant house on fire. Flames were spreading into the attic area. Firefighters were able to control the fire within five minutes.

A fire investigator said the fire is believed to be arson.

No suspects have been identified.
