Rose City Mayor Bonnie Stephenson got nice surprise Wednesday morning on the Today Show.
Stephenson was appearing on the show along with Eric Klein, of Can-Do.org, for what she thought was just going to be an interview and a story about how Klein and the Can-Do organization had been helping Rose City since Harvey devastated the town.
Instead after a several minute video was aired featuring Rose City the Today Show's Megyn Kelly presented Mayor Stephenson and Klein with a a giant check from Lowe's for $10,000 made out to Can-Do.org.
The donation will be distributed to Rose City residents in the form of gift cards to help in rebuilding after Harvey.
