The Port Neches Major Little League team had a massive game Thuresdy night by hitting 5 home runs in 3 innings and earning a District 32 Championship with a 20-2 win over Hamshire-Fannett.

PNLL advances to the Texas East Section 2 tournament that will be held at Nederland Little League, starting on Wednesday, July 5, 7p. The winners of districts 12, 17 and 28 will join PNLL in the Sectional contest. There will be 2 games the first 2 nights, followed with single games the next 2 nights.

Pt. Neches brings in a scoring machine that has won games by the scorers of 11-1, 10-0 and 20-2. Their pitching staff has given up only 3 runs in their pursuit of the Championship.

This group of boys won the 10 yr old championship 2 years ago, won the 11 yr old championship last year and topped it all with the championship this year. The future of PN-G baseball looks like there may be another championship on the way.

Hamshire Fannett surprised everyone in the district by battling their way to the Championship game. They finished with 4 wins with only 2 loses. They scored an amazing 48 runs in their 6 contests.

Another hitting machine in D32. HFLL did this with five 11 yr olds in their starting lineup. They are looking at another district run next year. HFLL defeated Orange County, Groves National, Orange County again, and Nederland while losing 2 games to the Champions.
