With the uncertainty of the recovery from Harvey flooding, a number of school districts are suspending the start of classes and their HS Football games.
Already, Orangefield ISD, West Orange Cove ISD Hardin-Jefferson and Bridge City ISD have said their schools will remain closed until further notice.
Beaumont ISD, Lumberton, PNG and Silsbee have said their classes won't start until September 11 at the earliest.
Port Arthur ISD has said they will try to open Sept 18, while Vidor is shooting for Sept 19 as their first day of classes.

In addition, the District 22-5A executive committee plans to meet later this week to discuss their options, with district play scheduled to start Sept 15.
