West Brook rallied twice to beat Oak Ridge 21-14 in overtime Thursday night at the Thomas Center.
Oak Ridge got on the board first thanks to a 31-yard Grant Stuard touchdown run. That lead would last less than three minutes though, as Joel Denley answered with a 36-yard score of his own.
Following a scoreless third, Oak Ridge's Stuard gave the War Eagles the lead again on a 26-yard dash to the endzone. But the Bruins answered once again. West Brook quarterback L'Ravien Elia broke a 45-yard touchdown run. Following the extra point the game was tied at 14.
This one would be settled in overtime. Denley gave the Brook a 21-14 lead on their opening possession, while Oak Ridge was stuffed on fourth and two at the seventeen.
With the win West Brook (8-1, 4-1) clinches a spot in the Class 6A playoffs.
