Three people were taken to the hospital following a major accident on FM 1130 north of 1078 just outside of the Orange city limits.

The accident was reported just after 4 p.m. Friday

An Orange Police Officer told 12News a person driving a black Ford Ranger southbound vehicle crossed the center line into the path of a Chevrolet Pickup. The impact caused the Ranger to flip and it landed in a large drainage ditch.

The driver of the Ranger was taken to the hospital by air ambulance. Two passengers from the Chevrolet were taken to the hospital with what officials describe as non-life threatening injuries.
