Students and teachers at Tekoa Academy in Port Arthur were sent home Friday morning after the discovery of a note in one of the bathrooms. The content of the note was not released.

Police went to the school just before 9 a.m. Officers say they found a crude handwritten message on the wall of the boy's restroom. The note had no specific threat to any identified person.

The Port Arthur Fire Dept utilized a bomb detection canine throughout the entire complex and the school was found to be safe.

Port Arthur Police are investigating the incident.
