The family of a Port Neches man is sharing about his life after he died in a car accident early Sunday morning.
There were 2 victims in that accident. The Groves Police Department identifies them as Oziel Carrizales, 19, of Port Arthur, and his passenger Juan Carlos Figueroa, 19, of Port Neches.
Investigators say the accident happened in the 3900 block of FM 366 around 7:30 a.m.
Figueroa's father spoke exclusively with 12News. Juan Carlos was a 2012 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School. He attended a semester at Lamar University before deciding to focus on a full time job. He had plans to go back to college and Figueroa said his son wanted to be an entrepreneur.
Mr. Figueroa has a business called JC's Industrial Wear. It was opened almost two years ago and named after his son Juan Carlos.
"He was very funny, very funny. He reminded me of my father because my father had tons of friends," Juan Figueroa said of his son.
