A Vidor police officer will be healing from some whip-lash after being rear-ended while working a construction zone on Interstate 10 early Friday morning.
The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment following the crash but is expected to be ok.
The collision took place in the westbound lanes of I-10 on the FM 1132 overpass. An SUV involved in the wreck was towed from the scene.
The Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash. No word if the driver of the SUV will face any charges.
