This group of men say that for the last 3 weeks, Jordan Construction Service LLC has not been paying them.

Good news for over two dozen contract workers in Vidor. After reaching out to 12News, they say they finally got their pay checks after not being paid for the last few weeks.

"I mean we're out here busting our butts sweating," says Craig Johnson, worker at the company.

It's boots on the ground Thursday morning where over a dozen contract workers showed their frustration.

"I can't pay my bills, my mortgage or or anything," Johnson says.

This group of men say that for the last 3 weeks, Jordan Construction Service LLC has not been paying them.

"We just went through a hurricane, there's a lot of out of pocket money from there and we're just trying to recover," says Christen Shanecompton, another employ for the company.

According to the company's president, the business switched financial institutions which caused a bump on the road to various pay checks.

"We're trying to be grown ups and patient but it's just not working," Shanecompton explains.

After 12News was on site with the group of employee's, they finally got paid.

"I don't have anyone to fall back on because this job is my livelihood," Drey Paull says.

The group is now ready to get back to work hoping this doesn't happen again, so they can provide for their families.

Several of the employees say they've now been paid in full.

Officials with the Better Business Bureau say if you're going through a similar situation with your employer, you should contact the Dispute Resolution Mediation Center, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the District Attorney's office.
