At least three dump trucks full of trash and debris are in a public landfill after they were removed Friday morning from 10th Avenue in Port Arthur. The section of roadway near Mardi Gras Southeast Texas was picked up just in time for the 2018 revelers.

Nine TxDOT crews are continuing the effort to clean debris from the roadways. The effort is headed up by the City of Port Arthur.
