Police said an argument started between two separate parties at the restaurant.

SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: Three individuals suspected in a deadly IHOP shooting over the weekend have been identified and are cooperating with investigators, San Antonio Police said Wednesday. Earlier this week, SAPD released surveillance video of the three suspects in hopes that a member of the public would be able to provide further information on the suspects. An argument led to a shooting inside an IHOP on the city's west side, the San Antonio Police Department said, and the victim died from his injuries after being taken to a local hospital.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at the restaurant along Highway 410 and Marbach Road.

Police said the argument started between two separate parties at the IHOP, and eventually escalated to punches being thrown.

During the fight, a man took out a gun and shot another man in the chest four times, police said. The victim, Kevin Cliston, was identified only as being in his 30s. His name was released by the Medical Examiner on Monday.

Customers inside the IHOP witnessed the incident and told police the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle.
