A store clerk in Orange says he will press charges against a man who tried to rob his store using a toy gun.

The non-successful robber wore dark-colored clothing with a white cloth covering his head and face as he tried to steal money from the Star Stop located at 1402 16th Street. He pulled out the toy gun and told the clerk to hand over the money. The clerk said he could see an accomplice waiting for the robber outside. The man with the toy gun chickened out when he saw there were other customers in the store. He ran away and the clerk called police.

A police report obtained by 12News says the robber did not get any cash.
