A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Jefferson County courthouse for about an hour Monday morning.
The courthouse was evacuated shortly after 11 a.m.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tells us that a courthouse receptionist received a "non-specific bomb threat" and that the evacuation was ordered as a precaution.
The courthouse was searched and an all-clear was given by the sheriff's office just after noon.
