Man rams multiple vehicles with car, charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon

Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this crime or whose vehicle was hit (and did not already make a report) to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234.

A man was taken into custody Thursday night after he allegedly rammed multiple vehicles with his car near Calder and West Lucas.

Kevin Boyle, a 54 year old Beaumont man was uncooperative with police and made threats toward others. He was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Officials are asking anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact Police at 409-832-1234.

On Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 5:09 p.m. Beaumont Police responded to the area of Calder and West Lucas in reference to a suspect ramming numerous vehicles with his car. When officers arrived on scene they found the suspect still inside his vehicle with the doors locked. The suspect failed to comply with Officers requests for him to exit the vehicle and he made numerous threats to harm others. The suspect, identified as Kevin Boyle, a 54 year old Beaumont Man, was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Jefferson County Jail, charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

There were several other vehicles that the suspect hit, that left the scene prior to officers arriving. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this crime or whose vehicle was hit (and did not already make a report) to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234.
