An Orange County family saved all their precious photos and mementoes from being destroyed by Harvey's flood by putting them in the attic of their home before the water came into their house. Those prized possessions were destroyed Friday morning when fire claimed the rest of their home on Wood Street.
The fire was discovered around 1:30 a.m. The family was not in the house because they have been living in a travel trailer while they worked to repair the damage caused by two feet of flood water.
The mother, father and two kids were not injured in the fire.
Firefighters on the scene did not yet know the cause of the fire as of 3 a.m. Friday.
