Entergy has announced that a request for customers to conserve power Thursday morning has been rescinded.
Thursday night Entergy asked costumers to reduce their electricity usage on Thursday, Jan. 18, between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The voluntary appeal has been lifted by MISO.
We have not had any load shortfalls today, and MISO indicates that there should be enough generation available in the mid-south region to meet the demand for the next several days.
At this time, we don’t anticipate having to make another voluntary request for conservation during this cold snap, but will alert the public as soon as we can should conditions change.
