A head-on crash in Fred has claimed the life of one driver, who died Tuesday morning, and seriously injured another driver following a Monday wreck in Fred.
Trevor Stephenson Gray, 25, of Vidor, died at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital according to a release from the the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened before 7 a.m. Monday in front of the post office in Fred on Highway 92 according to the release.

At approximately 6:45a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a two vehicle crash on FM 92 in Tyler County.
The crash occurred in front of the post office in Fred, Texas.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 2009 Toyota passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on FM 92.
The driver of the Toyota crossed the center dividing line and collided head-on with a 2013 Kia passenger vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota, 25-year-old Trevor Stephenson Gray of Vidor, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Kia, 28-year-old Danielle Anders Clark of Hemphill, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
Clark’s two children, ages 3 and 9 years of age, were also transported to St. Elizabeth hospital.
The 9-year-old child sustained minor injuries. The 3-year-old child was properly secured in a car seat and did not have any visible injuries, but was transported for observational purposes.
This crash remains under investigation as Troopers work to determine the exact factors that contributed to this crash.
