12News has learned that the suit was filed Tuesday in the 136th District Court and lists the Harris County Department of Education, CNA Insurance Companies and Onecis Insurance Companies as defendants.

The petition says the insurance company’s inspector examined the boilers a few months before the incident and failed to identify boiler defects that led to the leak.
