A Beaumont woman has been indicted for assaulting a man with a hatchet.
Gloria Bihm, 73, of Beaumont, was indicted for aggravated assault, Wednesday, for throwing a hatchet at Quindarren Davis, 38.
During the altercation, which occurred in November 2017, she yelled, "I'll kill you," according to an affidavit.
Davis told police Bihm approached the group he was with and at first said she had something to give them. Bihm then said she was going to kill them went back to her property, and returned with the hatchet.
Bihm threw the hatchet at the group, nearly hitting Davis according to the affidavit.
Police identified a chip in the concrete where the hatchet struck the ground.
Davis then charged at Bihm, who picked up a hoverboard and thew it at him according to police.
By the time police arrived she had been restrained by someone on the scene.
