Funeral services were held Thursday for sisters who were killed in a collision Feb. 3.
Family and friends gathered at Crestwood Baptist Church in Lumberton to celebrate the lives of Connely Renee Burns and sister Courtney Ray Sterling. Family members requested that no cameras be allowed inside or on the grounds of Broussard's and Crestwood Baptist Church during the ceremony. 12News honored that request and did not send cameras to the funeral.
Burns, her unborn baby boy and Sterling, were all killed when the car they were in was rear-ended by a Camaro in Lumberton. The girl's mother, Dawn Sterling, 46, was injured in the collision and survived.
The driver of the Camaro, identified as Crystal Lummus Boyett, 40, of Kirbyville, has been charged with three counts of manslaughter.
