BEAUMONT — Beaumont Police are investigating after a man was shot while dropping someone off at a south Beaumont home.
When police responded to a reported shooting just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Hebert they found the victim still in his car attempting to drive himself to the hospital according to a release from the Beaumont Police Department.
The man told police that while dropping someone off at a residence someone began firing at him and his car the release said.
The man was transported to a Beaumont hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to the release.
