Beaumont Independent School District's superintendent is pushing back the date employees will find out if they are keeping or losing their jobs.

Those affected will now be notified by June 30, instead of the originally set date of June 12.

In the letter obtained by 12News, Dr. Timothy Chargois said this school year is ending with serious issues that may have employees wondering how the recently approved reduction in force will impact their lives.

He also outlined what the reduction in force will affect.
