A five-vehicle wreck involving an 18-wheeler and 4 other cars created a headache for Interstate 10 commuters Monday afternoon.

The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 just past the Harrison Street overpass.

A witness told 12News that the large truck jack-knifed on the highway.

Four people were treated at the scene but no injuries were considered serious.
